Smart Mandrels™ are a reusable mandrel system that reduces the time and difficulty of the composite tooling process, especially for parts with complex geometry and trapped composite configurations. Smart Mandrels offer composite manufacturers an innovative, inexpensive solution to the high labor and materials costs of traditional mandrels.

SMP Bladders are an advanced, reusable tooling solution that replaces conventional bladders. They operate first as net-shaped, rigid lay-up mandrels and later in the process as inflatable bladders. They offer the benefits of both a rigid tooling solution during lay-up and an inflatable bladder system during cure, resulting in high-quality composite parts with precise exterior finish shape.
